When you think about sexual health, it’s about much more than the physical act of having sex. Social stigmas, difficulty confiding in a partner or just personal shame can sometimes prevent a woman from achieving good sexual health. If you’re feeling any of those ways, consulting with a doctor or therapist may be beneficial.
Sexual health is important. When you have good personal relationships and feel well emotionally and physically, you are able to have better control of intimate relationships and are able to understand and respect the value of your sexual health. Good sexual health can improve your overall well-being.
